A beautiful display of Noctilucent Clouds (NLC) lasting almost 2 hours over central Canada. Many amazing ripples and shades to marvel at while airborne at 35,000 feet near Churchill, Manitoba. Towering another ten times higher than us, these whitish-blue illuminations enjoyed 24 hour daylight in direct sunlight, despite today already being the “longest day” of the year (Summer Solstice). 21 June 2005 GMT.
